GASKAP-OH will probe the beginning and end points of stellar life, by using the Australia Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) telescope to observe the four 18-cm transitions of ground-state hydroxyl (OH) in the Milky Way and Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) at unprecedented sensitivity and resolution.
